The cost-of-living crisis has resulted in many of our valued customers being put under more financial strain than ever. So, here at One Call Insurance, we’ve been looking into how we can help…
As you, our consumers, are at the heart of everything that we do, we’ve been working hard to find solutions that suit your needs during these trying times. As a result, we’re proud to have teamed up with Trakm8 to launch our innovative ‘Pay as you Drive’ car insurance.
The price of your policy will be calculated based on your monthly mileage, plus an upfront payment for a parked-up charge, which covers your vehicle in instances such as theft, fire and vandalism.
Our friends at Trakm8 – experts in technology solutions across the telematics industry – will be providing the mileage tracker. Unlike a black box, it won’t be used to track how you drive, simply how far you drive – making it a suitable solution for all drivers, no matter your age or driving experience.
Aside from the obvious benefit of helping you to save your hard-earned money, the device can also be used as a location tracker to help recover your vehicle in the unfortunate event that it’s stolen, plus a battery checker to help monitor your cars battery. It will also detect any engine faults or warning lights and display these in your customer portal. It’s a clever little thing, right?
That’s not all! You’ll still benefit from the same great cover that comes as standard with any of our motor insurance policies, including free breakdown membership and free motor legal cover.
We can imagine that you, along with many people across the UK, are looking at your household bills and wondering what you can cut back on - we don’t blame you, but it’s important that your car insurance remains a priority.
Not only is motor insurance a legal requirement, it’s also important to protect yourself against the unexpected, such as a road traffic accident or theft. If you’d like to know more about the importance of insurance amid the cost-of-living crisis, take a look at last week’s blog.
With rising costs leading to people cutting down on non-essential journeys, there couldn’t be a better time to take the wheel on your own insurance and simply drive less to pay less.
